Welcome To Columbus

Public Transportation

The Columbus area is full of vibrant and connected places that are easy to navigate by road, bike or pedestrian trail. I-185 is the major interstate that runs north-south with easy access to I-85, while Hwy 280, Hwy 431 and Hwy 27 round out the primary road network.

The area is recognized as one of the most bicycle-friendly cities in the U.S. and bike rentals are readily available. The Dragonfly Trail, our network of off-road greenway trails, will eventually span over 60 miles connecting pedestrians and cyclists to the Chattahoochee River, neighborhoods and jobs.

There is no shortage of shared transportation options such as Uber, Lyft, and Groome which provides shuttle service to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) from Columbus and Fort Benning. We are also fortunate enough to have a terrific public transportation system.

Here are some of those options.
