Columbus Health Department

Columbus Health Department is part of the West Central Health District and a resource where all people can obtain healthcare services and attain optimum health. Hughston Clinic

Hughston Clinic comprises a number of leading institutions for the diagnosis and treatment of orthopoedic conditions, as well as research, education, and training. Orthopaedic services offered include specialized practice areas in spine, hand, joint, sports medicine, and trauma. The system also operates the Jack Hughston Memorial Hospital, an advanced acute-care hospital, offering a range of services, including orthopaedic and general surgery, physical therapy, diagnostic imaging, a pharmacy, a full laboratory, and a 24-hour emergency room.

Piedmont Columbus Regional

Piedmont Columbus Regional has two campuses (MidTown and Northside), and Cancer Center which have garnered national acclaim in clinical quality and patient satisfaction, stroke care, oncology, and pediatrics.

The MidTown Campus is a 583-bed, acute care hospital and features a regional Level II trauma center, and is one of only six perinatal centers in the state with a Level III neonatal ICU and a fullservice pediatric intensive care unit.

The Northside Campus is a 100-bed, acute care hospital specializing in an extensive range of surgical services and physical rehabilitation as well as an emergency department.

The John B. Amos Cancer Center is the only oncology center in the region to offer a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary program accredited by the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons. All oncology doctors at the cancer treatment center are board certified in their respective fields.

St. Francis Hospital

St. Francis is a 376-bed, two-campus regional health system and has earned a national reputation for outstanding quality of care. The hospital system provides a variety of health care services such as the Elena Diaz-Verson Amos Center for Breast Health, the St. Francis Heart Hospital, the Bradley Center for Behavioral and Mental Health Care, and the St. Francis Sue Marie Turner Women’s Hospital. St. Francis is rated in the top 20 best hospitals in Georgia.

Valley Healthcare

Valley Healthcare Columbus is a community health center located just north of Ft. Moore and provides family medical, dental, vision, women’s health, out-reach services, behavioral health, and pharmacy services to residents from the Chattahoochee Valley region and beyond.
