Program Details
Requirements
- Employed full-time and able to relocate while retaining current position.
- Live at least 75 miles outside the city limits of Columbus at the time of application for the program.
- Must relocate primary residence to Muscogee County, GA within 6 months.
- Earn at least $75,000 annually from a single income source.
- At least 18 years old and U.S. citizen or otherwise legally allowed to live and work in the country.
Selection Process
- To ensure financial stability and program effectiveness, applicant income will be verified through a secure payroll verification software. This step is quick and easy, and privacy is always protected.
- Following income verification, applicants will receive a short questionnaire and a friendly phone interview with our team.
- Final selections are made by a committee of local residents, ensuring a community-driven approach.
Incentive Package
If chosen for the program, applicants will receive a relocation incentive to help settle in Columbus. To be eligible for the full incentive, applicants need to complete their move within 6 months of receiving an offer and become a resident for a full year. Our complete relocation incentive package includes:
- 6 months of co-working space at CoWork Columbus
- Annual Community Connection Outing – rafting, ziplining, and a mixer with Columbus locals
- Coffee with the Mayor
- Monthly Mover Meet Ups: Connect with fellow movers and community leaders at complimentary coffee, lunch, or group outings while exploring Columbus together
- 1 year membership to the Young Professionals Program
- 1 year family membership to Columbus Aquatics Center
- 1 year membership to the Greater Columbus Chamber of Commerce

The $5,000 cash incentive is split into two parts:
- The first half is paid upon arrival in Columbus, with proof of residency (e.g., signed lease or home purchase).
- The second half is paid after applicant successfully completing their first year as a Columbus resident.
